Description

Beautifully handcrafted fine wooden combs made of Neem and Devdar or Deodar cedar wood. Devdar wood is durable, rot resistant and has a fine close grain with the capability of taking a high polish. Similarly Neem wood is a durable wood which does not split apart easily, has a coarse grain and is known to be easy to work with while being a pest resistant wood. These qualities of both the woods make them the preferred choice when crafting wooden combs. The colour of both the woods is also similar and aesthetically pleasing. The combs have rounded and smooth edges and don't tend to pull or break the hair. Wooden combs are not harsh on the scalp and do not cause static unlike plastic and metal combs. The combs are made of single pieces of wood and carefully crafted to make your hair grooming experience a pleasant one. The neem wood combs are also known to have anti microbial properties keeping one's hair and scalp clean and free of dandruff. All the wood crafts of Udayagiri, Nellore have been recently conferred with a GI tag.
